Dr. David Axelrod

David Axelrod, DDS

Dr. David Axelrod grew up in New Jersey and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Biology. He continued to the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where he earned his DDS. After dental school, Dr. Axelrod served as a dental officer in the United States Army Dental Corps for five years.

Dr. Axelrod began his Army service at Fort Benning, Georgia, with a Residency in Advanced General Dentistry. From there he went to serve as the Brigade Dental Surgeon in the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas and deployed to South Korea. He finished his service at Fort Meade, Maryland and was honorably discharged from the US Army. Dr. Axelrod received many awards for his service including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Korea Defense Service Medal.

Dr. Axelrod is dedicated to treating patients with respect and compassion. He knows that a visit to the dentist can be overwhelming, so he always puts the needs of his patients first and foremost. Dr. Axelrod is a lifelong student of dentistry and participates in continuing education courses to keep his skills current and innovative. As he is no stranger to being a dental patient himself, Dr. Axelrod treats his patients as he would want to be treated.

Dr. Axelrod is married to the love of his life, Victoria. They enjoy hiking, skiing, and being in the beautiful Colorado outdoors together. In his free time, Dr. Axelrod plays guitar and practices yoga.

 
Dr. Victoria Parver

Victoria Parver, DDS

Dr. Victoria Parver hails from Washington DC and received a B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She graduated with honors from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. As a proud Army wife, Dr. Parver then moved to Texas where she completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at New York University Lutheran in Waco, Texas. She gained extensive experience in treating patients of all ages and spent two years caring for children and families in a pediatric clinic in rural Texas.

A general dental practice in suburban Maryland followed, due to another Army relocation. More recently, Dr. Parver has cared for elderly and disabled patients in nursing homes around Colorado. She believes in providing gentle, personalized care to patients in a comfortable and supportive environment. She knows that communication and trust are essential to a good relationship and realizes her patients’ concerns and objectives are of the utmost importance.

Dr. Parver believes that continuing education is fundamental in an ever-changing field. She attends frequent dental seminars and conferences to stay current with her profession. Outside of dentistry, she is happiest creating culinary delights in the kitchen and exploring the Colorado outdoors with her husband, David.
